What can I say about you mum except you were the most special person ever. I didnt tell you much when you were alive but I loved you so much and regret not telling you when I had the chance! You and dad took me out of a childrens home when I was 4 and a half years old and despite not being the easiest child you stuck by me through thick and thin. You had a heart of gold which eventually gave out 26 years ago today and I still miss you so much. It still hurts that you never got to hold my 2 children Laura and David and your great grandson Dylan (Lauras son). You were joined by dad in February 1996 and my brother in law Bert (sister Jos husband) in October 2007. Hope you are looking after them! Still miss you mum after all those years but think it would make you happy to know that I am close to Margaret and Jo now and visit them as often as I can. Love you and miss you lots mum!

You grew your wings 27 years ago today mum and I miss you as much as ever! If you had lived for just another 364 days, you would have seen my first child and your grandaughter Laura, who is now a mum herself. I wish so much you had been there! I talk about you every day and Dylan knows what a wonderful great granny he had! Love, hugs and kisses to dad and bert too! You will always be loved and missed so much by us all!

If tears could build a stairway
And memories a lane,
I would walk right up to heaven
And bring you home again
